Welcome to Texas Trans Kids!
Thousands of transgender youth are currently living and thriving in Texas as their true and authentic selves, and they are courageous and resilient in the face of a historic onslaught against their rights that has exponentially worsened in our state. This website is a hub of resources and information for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth in Texas and those who love and support them.
Our Get Help page has information and resources from organizations across Texas helping to keep trans youth safe, healthy, and living their best lives. The page includes important updates and critical resources from national, statewide, and local organizations across Texas.
Our Students’ Rights Toolkit explains how federal courts across the country have found in favor of transgender students’ rights to be themselves at school. Transgender students are protected under the U.S. Constitution and Title IX, as well as other federal and state laws, and our Toolkit explains how you can defend and protect students’ rights in Texas schools.

Our Actions & Events and Be an Advocate pages enable you to get involved and join us in supporting and advocating for transgender youth. As tens of thousands of young people live openly as their true and authentic selves—and are very much embraced and cherished in our state—some Texas politicians have relentlessly targeted transgender youth, their families, and those who support them for political gain. These attacks are wrong, unfounded, reckless, and causing immense harm.
Our Legal Updates page contains legal updates about how trans youth, their families, and those who support them can protect themselves and their civil rights. You can find up-to-date information for young people, parents and guardians, educators, healthcare professionals, and others on this page, and you can also connect with us if you need legal help.
Some information on this website references suicide attempts and suicidal thoughts.
